Now, I've been wanting to do something for a mecha forum of mine for a bit, and that is ripping both models and sprites for the PSP. Since models have proved really hard, I decided I was going to try doing sprites.
I've been looking up a few tools. When I unpack the data for this particular game (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Gihren's Ambition Axis no Yabou V), and a few other ones, the file format for most of the data is .mkd, a single .mif, and some prx files.
Pretty much I have zero experience in ripping sprites, so I wanted to know what tools I should use for these particular file types. The problem I've been having is that... well, I've noticed that depending on the game the data storage can be different, so the few things I've been able to find on my own don't seem to work for these particular games. Anyway, any help would be very much appreciated, and thank you for your time
