With Skype Groups you have to be manually invited by someone whom is already in the group, you can't just "join" persay. I'm sure if you ask someone whom is in the group, you could get added.

Oh, I hadn't thought about that. I've only just recently started a group for me and my friends to chat while I livestream, (I run join.me through Linux on WINE, so I don't get notifications from its own chatbox if I forget to close the chatbox after I'm through typing.) so thanks for the tip.
