Captain Harlock would be a great add on to the story(possible airship/spaceship), but for now I'll just stick with your ref.
Chaoxy's ref i find difficult to sprite, I don't think I can picture the side of his ref's head

yeah wasn't sure about his muzzle though.(then again not sure what type of animal he is, dog?)

He's a sand fox. Don't worry about the muzzle. I think it looks good.
