1st row - correct palette, miscoloured palette
2nd row - deleted black background, correct palette had black in its sprite
3rd row - combined both sprites
4th row - recoloured the obvious false colour back to black.
Anyway, you can solve any issue with black background by this method. In this case (Kyle from Lunar SSSC) it was obvious, but if it's just about a few pixels, you can also compare the sprites if you're suspicious. The first two rows should be enough for a quick control.
