Why don't they just eliminate the level cap and allow trainers to level indefinitely? That would certainly bring a greater sense of balance to the table. A level 100 Raticate might not stand up to an equally leveled Dragonite, but a level 200 Raticate could.

Uhhh no. Not only can't the stats go up that high due to number limitations, but if you know enough about the weaknesses of your opponent's Pokemon and the Strength of your Pokemon, you can literally beat out your opponent no problem.

Like if you know what you are doing you can pull off beating level 80 Pokemon with level 1 Pokemon.




However I do think they should get rid of the 3 on 3 when you do a battle with someone else, especially in tournaments. You should fight with your full team, and not half of it.
