What's so bad about that?

Sure the Xbox one is shit but that doesn't mean that they can't release the game on different platforms.

This game is being released by a business. Not a picky teenager. It's not like anyone is pointing a gun at your head telling you that it's going to be exclusive to the Xdone anyways.

It just feels like bad business sense to me. It costs some money to allow a company to release a game on a different console, so it feels a little like a bad investment to do this, actually.

But that's just to one's opinion.

Sure it may seem like a bad investment but at the same time you never really know what's going to happen in the future. The console still has to be given some chance to be on the market and if it fails they can cancel it. Until then they'll want to try and get the game on the most consoles they can if they're a third party company since they'll want to get profit off the game the most ways they can.

And Besides, Tetsuya Nomura felt that the game was being announced to early. (source) At any given time Square Enix can cancel the game's release on that system in particular since it sounds like it's still early in it's development. Right now we'd have to wait and see how well the Xbox one actually does on the market until anything happens.

Okay, I think I'll give it a chance... Chances are, Microsoft will find their way out of the pickle they are in and everyone will like them again. I would rather they not, but I know that there are many people who wish Microsoft well and want them to succeed.
