Still, barring all of that, you really can't blame Windows/Microsoft for lagging if you'er trying to play games like that on high end specs with only like, 1.5 GB and under of ram, and a mediocre processor. As well as the aforementioned getting trojans, viruses, malware and spyware. All of those relate to YOU not taking care of the computer, not the manufacturers of the OS.
It's similar to how people were saying Startropics 2's free movement system was bad because they couldn't perform certain platform jumps without dying once or more. You can't diss the movement system just because you have poor platforming skills. The game gives you plenty of leeway, allowing you to walk up against the edge of a platform before jumping anyway, so any failure is all on the player's end, not the game's. Realtime action games shouldn't be gridsnapped anyway; it always feels stiff and clunky =C.
