If it's just the same exact game with better graphics only, it's a waste of money, unless you don't own any version of the game. Even so, I think the WonderSwan Color or PS1 versions of the game have done it justice. Although they didn't add any extra content (SHAME ON THEM!), they stayed true to the original while buffing up the engine and graphics (and music and sounds).
But, I mean an actual, complete remake, just for the heck of it. Not upgraded ports with extras, no.

I'd love to see an updated High Resolution 2D, Free Movement remake of Zelda 1, because the gridsnapping was bullshit. No realtime action game should ever have gridsnapping. Stiff and clunky movement in those sort of games makes it more ridiculous than it has to be (not that I've had any problems with Zelda 1, but it still felt way more stiff than it needed to be).
