Finally got around to editing Felix's sprite a TON. Here's what I've got now:
The shape of the hair was bothering me, so I completely redid his hairstyle to look neater and simpler, and it's a definite improvement. The hair color change was to get this sprite down to Phoenix Wright's 16-color limit.
Speaking of which, this sprite should have exactly 16 colors, all of which are in that little grid there. To narrow colors, I also took the pen pocket out and just put a pocket with a paper thing in it, changed the tie color, did some hue shifting to make the gold shades and the skin shades interchangeable, and changed the folded sleeve end from light purple to gray.
I did my best to do antialiasing inside the sprite while still maintaining the color limit, and I made sure to be loyal to Phoenix's sprite. So the lines that mark the areas of his suit are based on the original suit in terms of being a 1-2 px length solid line of one color. I also changed the folds of the suit so that they aren't upturned and pointy. He definitely looks like less of an antagonist now, and changing his hair color really made this sprite more appealing to look at.
Opinions, both on this and the Roll sprite?
