Also, (inspired by the above post) if you're like me and you don't like putting the pictures over the backdrop on photoshop or whatever and you save all the to-be preview images in a size of 588x410, then you can use this "simple" tool and make the progress a bit quicker:

This is a very temporary tool I glued together because the Icon Maker hasn't been updated yet. It takes multiple to-be preview pictures and OVERWRITES them with the backdrop in place. Its GUI is non-existent so here's how you use it: simply boot it up, select your files, let it do whatever it does and when it's done close it. I thought I'd share this just in case.
