Some PS4s are having an issue where the HDMI port has a peice of metal or something in the way and it bends some of the prongs on your HDMI cable so they don't make contact with the PS4, causing it to not be able to finish the boot process. Apparently any cable you put in it will bend like that so it appears to be a faulty PS4 at first (since multiple cables all break in the same way) but apparently it can be fixed by moving the metal out of the way and bending the prongs on the cable back into place.
