Oh yeah BTW you can't even check for comments in your Inbox or even send/receive PMs without Google+. Also, the soft blue like/dislike bar below videos is a small change, but this sort of "inoffensive and sanitary" design blandness is just the dressing on this shit salad that really drives me nuts ("red's too stressful, and we don't want people who make shit videos to feel sad!"). Christ, I betcha the logo's gonna be turned blue and gray within a year to keep pushing a "sleek and trendy" look for the site. Rghh.
I have been trying my damnedest to keep using YouTube and to avoid their Google+ shit as much as possible (since YT is the most popular provider of video hosting), but it seems near inevitable at this point that YouTube will soon absolutely force Google+ just to have an account and the site's gonna get bloated and saturated even more with this garbage. I really think that if we want to send a message (or at least try), a mass migration to Vimeo or something is the best option at this point since Google/YouTube doesn't listen when it's told to quit their nonsense. The only problem is, a lot of people are unaware of YouTube's bullshit (somehow), depend too much on YouTube revenue (so YouTube's got this group of people by the balls), or are apathetic jerkoffs, so even this would gain no momentum. But it's the only idea I can come up with.

Offending people is a necessary and healthy act... Every time you say something that's offensive to another person, you just caused a discussion. You just forced them to have to think. - Louis C.K.
