Sorry about VGSC, it's due for an update but I haven't had much time for it recently. However, you shouldn't be getting that error. Did that happen with the .brstm you uploaded?
Files are usually grouped in folders or have some sort of naming convention. Files in the same folder or with similar names should be related in some sort of way, although that relation could well be something like a cutscene or event, rather than the character who's talking. If that's the case (which you'd have to check by testing a couple of grouped files) then I'm afraid there's no real way to get a specific character's voice files apart from manually finding them.
