Dazz Wrote:8. Don't bump old threads or double post.
Don't necropost. In other words, don't bump an old thread that is dead, which generally means anything not on the first page of topics. Of course, if it's something like your own topic and you're showing some changes to your old work or something, then go ahead. On that note, it's fine to double post if you're bumping your own thread because you've made a noteworthy change to your work or have something else valuable to add; just don't bump your thread if it's simply to say "bumping because it's not the first topic in the list" or something stupid like that. Also, please don't bump your topic in quick succession - if the last couple of posts are all yours, please wait rather than bumping for tiny changes. If you do want to bump a dying topic, please do, but make sure it's at least reaching the end of the page of topics first.
8.1: PLEASE TRY TO PAY ATTENTION TO POST DATES.
If a submission thread is a month or more old, then don't post in it just to say "wow nice job!!!!1111" or something similar with no useful content. If you would like to ask a question concerning the OP's work, then please PM them and not bump their topic. There are a few exceptions to this however such as some Gaming Discussion threads (videogames you love/hate, what are you playing, etc.) Real Life threads, stickied threads, etc., as long as your post is actually adding something of interest to the topic.
So yeah, the creator of the thread can bump but others can't
You can look at the thread for yourself here.
