The GamePad is great, but my hand hurts when I'm editing rosters in Madden using the D-Pad. I've never had a problem with the N64 controller, but that was my first system so I might be a little biased. The PS2 is fine, I hate Xbox, and I don't have any, but that controller is not terrible.About the odd N64 controller shape, ever heard of the Hori Mini pad?
It's a third party controller that was only released in Japan that apparently is much easier to hold, has a real functional joystick and just overall is 10x better than the original. They are ultra expensive to try and get your hands on here in the states. I want to try one out so bad though...
I do have a rare N64 controller, however. It's the Donkey Kong 64 controller. It's in very rough shape, I'm thinking of trying to restore it by ripping apart a plain yellow N64 controller, removing all it's components and putting them in the DK64 controller.
More N64 controller stuff, I recently replaced the joystick in one of mine with a Gamecube style joystick. I must say, the durability is great, but it has sensitivity issues that make it near impossible to play some games with. Meh.
That looks pretty cool, but I have a bad feeling about the placement of the D-Pad.
The thing I like the most about the Xbox controller are the R2 and L2 or whatever they're called, the triggers.
