That skin tone works great, but if you study it, the brightest shade works well as a base skin tone for a pale type of base.

I was trying to find something in between, and couldn't find it on the palette, so I tried a new color to test it out.

Yes, but add another tones to fill in the palette rectangle.

So you mean finish off the rest of the shades to make it into 3 shaded tone? \
