The .mtl file tells the .obj file which textures to load. Also, open the .mtl files with notepad and makes sure that the map_kd directory is, xxxx.png and not textures/xxxx.png. Models-Resource is very strict about this!( xxxx.png = texture file )
So doing that should fix the problem. I've ripped plenty of models that didn't have the .mtl file with them, and when I've imported them into Blender, they've imported with NO texture.
for sure! now, before send the model i'll try to open it in other computer, with other programs, like maya, 3ds, and C4D
