Yeah, I have to say that's the first time I've ever opened a spoiler, saw Fakemon, and said "Oho damn"
With the eye of a harsh critic, I'd say that they're still not Sugimori-esque - but the influence is definitely present, and they resemble Sugimori's style much, much MUCH more. Like - you've totally done the Quartz Fakemon justice.
Your own post-apocalyptic Fakemon on the other hand do have quite a few [more like 3/4 of them, lol] that look like they could pass as Sugimori designs (why is that steel-type train bug so GENIUS)
Hell, Quartz's sprites are honestly the thing that held me back from playing it for so long. They look like characters you'd see painted on the walls of a Chuck E Cheese - but yours look 200% more legit.
If you inserted your own work in place of its current sprites, I'd probably play the shit out of Quartz
