that's better! but now you should think about the motion a bit more. when performing a punch, in order to impart any real force on it, you have to reel your fist back. depending on the speed and strength of the punch, this could mean the fist starting out just behind where it was in the idle, or as far back as parallel with the head, with the elbow showing behind the back. try to work in some buildup to your punch.
also! do not be afraid to exaggerate anatomy during the actual punch to get more range on it. the human body is pretty stretchy and flexible, just not in a way that's easily observed without really studying body motions.
