And would you still play Roy if he played totally different? Because that's entirely possible if he did return.

If Roy were to return, and he'd have to be redone, I hope they put more emphasis on his double-edged sort of gameplay, which already makes him significantly more unique from Marth, who plays more safely with that sweetspot on the tip.

Like, say, make some of his moves deal brutal amounts of damage/knockback, but make the damage recoil on him as well (if the sweetspot connects with the opponent). Give him his Sol skill to recover health to compensate any self inflicted damage. Also, replace his Double-edged Dance (aka Dancing Blade ripoff) with some sick fire wave slash thingy and boom, make Chrom look like nothing.
