*cough cough* OK, I guess I'll just figure out the ghost sprites myself. 
More great progress...I've finished a ton of NPCs, a new font, 200/1431 text lines, most of the interior layouts and a lot more enemy sprites. The other day I was working on the title screen and as I added sparklies to the globe inspiration struck! My Mother 1 hack shall be called...

Mother Deluxe! Major space nerd cred for anyone who can name that specific picture of the Earth.
And for good measure, here are three more rows of enemy sprites. I'm reasonably happy with how these all came out, but my Stray Dog sprite still remains my favorite out of all of them. Comments and critiques welcome.
