Since there's already most of my favorite Kirby 64 music being mentioned I'll throw another nice track out here:
Ripple Star's map theme
It took me a while to notice it, but the music has a strange simultaneous happy/sad feel with a mildly unsettling/dark undertone given by its beat instruments (i'm not sure the actual musical term for it).
Which, is says everything that needed to be said about what Ripple star IS (at that point in time).
My only problem with the song is its too short... I'd have loved a full stage music length version.
I think quite a few tracks in these thread aren't being given full justice, because the context the tunes are used in can make a good song even better, or even make a meh sound excellent just because of the atmosphere it adds.
Side note: Am I the only one that wished Bumper Crop's music was paired with the floor removing mini-game instead, thus sticking the (arguably) best mini-game music with the best mini-game? (Gourmet race works best with the one it had though)
