I feel that emulation can be important, but at the same time, I also feel that the real thing is more of a thing that immerses you and all that stuff.
Do I have an actual Genesis? No. This is actually why most people might prefer emulation: The earliest of game consoles (think NES and Genesis, the latter of which is called the Mega Drive across the pond) can be difficult to obtain these days, what with the newest Playstation and Xbox games hogging up the shelves of almost every Gamestop in existence that I know of and their respective consoles pretty much hogging up the rest of the store space. See where I'm going with this?
