Yes we do o-O
wait seriously? RIP
Honestly, I'd rather they re-release each game using the FE:A engine (or even Shadow Dragon idc) as e-shop downloads or something like that, instead of a really dopey, ham-handed translation of each old Famicom/Super Famicom game.
Hell if they released entire map-packs as actual like, FE:A DLC I wouldn't be mad at all.
Half the problem with using those engines, though is pretty much what happened with Shadow Dragon: Adding the new class system to the old game pretty much breaks the mechanics and makes the original game way, way too easy. ):

y-you gotta make it hit home
You...really don't, though. Just open the VS Mode and pick from one of the maps in the game to play against your friend. Advance Wars 1 or 2, Dual Strike, or Days of Ruin. Those maps, like Spann Island etc. are all from the original Famicom Wars.
Super Famicom Wars is more of the same, except it has train terrain and units (which are really silly and impractical) [also, it's a kiosk download]
Oh did I mention none of the previous Wars games had COs or campaigns, lol?
