I tried stepping out of my comfort zone by working in a different style. I wanted to try making a more detailed sprite with a larger palette compared to my previous sprites. It didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it to, but I think it's OK for an early attempt at trying something different.
It's supposed to be some sort of a robot mechanic guy. I gave him an arm cannon that also functions as a multi-tool(I gave him a wrench...). I tried adding a bandana, but I'm unfamiliar with making folds/wrinkles in the fabric, the shading isn't that great and the tool belt didn't turn out very good, but other than those few issues I don't think it's too bad.
It's open for crits, but I'm going to be moving on to other stuff pretty soon. I plan on practicing a lot more by making/using a bunch of characters in an attempt to develop my own style!
