Hey, all you Fantasy Smashers! Just had an idea that I wanted to share with y'all, maybe not original (I swear someone else said it before me)... but what about Goombella being a joke Assist Trophy (like Resetti, but less annoying). Every time she'd pop out and say "Goombella takes the stage!" (in reference to how the battles in PM2 looked more like plays being put on) while striking a small pose. Then, she'd start looking through her little book of infinite knowledge for a couple of seconds; after that, a 
would appear over her head and she'd go, "Ah! Here we go! Let's talk about [insert random battler's name here]!" Finally, she'd go into a humorous rant about that character. If anyone tried to hit her, she'd get angry and Headbonk the attacker for minor damage and MAJOR dizzy time before getting right back to what she was saying. An example... (new lines outside the quotes mean that her text box would clear before saying something new)
*shatter*
"Goombella takes the stage!"
"Let's see here... who can I talk about?... Hmm..."
"Ah! Here we go! Let's talk about Mario!"
"His standard B is the fireball: a small projectile that can help to stop people in their tracks. His forward B is the cape: with it, he fears no projectile!"
"His up B is the classic Super Jump Punch (complete with coins!); it helps Mario make one last effort to recover pretty well. FLUDD takes the spot of his Down-B this round; it does no damage, but it pushes the opponent away; perfect for those who can't try to recover anymore."
"Not only is he a balanced fighter, but he's handsome, charming, sweet, dedicated and--! Oh... crud... I just said that out loud? ...Could we just forget I did? ...Please?"
