Sad rumor: I hear you can't actually toggle Lucina's mask. It is apparently only a taunt.

Yup, she takes it off after the taunt. I tried to taking damage when taunting to see if it would stay that way, but no
Kirby has the mask when he eats her though, which is weird.

I also want to point out that the announcer, at least in the Japanese version, pronounces Lucina wrong.
It's like "Lu-key-na"
(I know it's sounds like the Japanese pronunciation of her name, but he pronounces other character's names the way they are in English)
