I seriously prefer Bowser and the Kongs' normal voices over those stock monster and ape sounds; gives them more of a personality, and wouldn't Sakurai want to give every character just that?

Exactly. It's about personality. Bowser, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong have no personality in this game. They're just mindless animals which is not what they are.

I wouldn't mind as much if Smash didn't leave such an impression on the public. No one knows what Captain Falcon is really like. He's just a PAWNCHing fool who wants to see YO MOVES.
