General Sonic is Terrible Thread

Well on that note ... could we establish what exactly is considered a good 3D Platform Sonic Game here? Because there seems to be a lot of disconnect in opinions in that regard.

I won't go into too much detail because I'm way too tired right now, but here's my tier list of Sonic games...

Tier One (Great):

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Sonic Adventure DX

Tier Two (Good):

Sonic Heroes
Sonic R
Sonic & the Black Knight
Sonic & the Secret Rings

Tier Three (Leaning Toward Bad):

Shadow the Hedgehog
Sonic Colors

Tier Four (Bad):

Sonic Generations
Sonic Unleashed


I wasn't sure whether I should include Sonic the Hedgehog 4 or the Sonic Rush games? I generally liked all of those (I actually really like Sonic 4 shake it off... shake it off...). I also didn't include things like Sonic the Fighters or Sonic Chronicles (though I like both of those too).
