The remix isn't what I expected it to sound like. It's okay, but a fan made a better remix than that.
As for that route theme, yeah it does sound a bit awkward. I wonder about Route 101...*listens* Not bad, sounds good.
You know what though? They seem to really be hitting that high note on these songs, and it irritates my ears after a while. It's almost as bad as Gen 1's Screech high pitched noise.
