Honestly, I don't care about newcomers that much at this point. We got some great ones. Really just patch in the veterans and the roster is great.
And it's not even close to a bad game, in fact it's the most fun I've had with the franchise since... Well, I think since Melee. I'm not a Melee-tard either, Brawl I enjoy more, but Brawl couldn't top the initial "wow" factor Melee had going in. I feel like SSBWU does that just by having such superb gameplay. I simply find it to be a lot less enjoyable because of small limitations, like the lack of 8-Player Smash stages, the fact that they completely removed standard-sized blocks in Stage Creator, and the fact that multiple modes lack a "retry" button (and that the "quit" combination is awful when you're a GamePad main).
Smash Tour... I am disappointed with, just like I was disappointed with Smash Run on the 3DS. I don't want the modes gone, however. There's definite good aspects to them both that could be ironed out in future iterations of the franchise, and I look forward to that.
Ah yes, the extremely obscure protagonist of the Red Badge of Courage.
That's perfect. I would rather have all of the stages in one spot being awesome, and all of the modes as well.
