Yeah, I'm not really sure it makes sense to put a single NPC sheet in with the rest of the playable characters and then rename the section.

I'm also not sure it makes sense to have all of the NPCs on one sheet with no labels given that they appeared to have names before.

Well only two sprites were named b4, the other sheet, people of taia, had general villager sprite that are used in the whole game. The npc sheet could always be put in the miscelaneous but it seem more logic to me to be with the other characters.
Edit: Btw, Zelda Snes has both the Pc and Npc under "Friendly Characters".
