games you dislike that everyone likes and vice versa

I don't like Borderlands either.
I hated the art style from the moment I first saw it and didn't want to play it but I decided to try it because I liked the idea of a lootgame FPS.

Then I actually played it (on multiplayer, before anyone suggests it as the mode you need to play to have fun) and I hated every second of it. It tries too hard to be funny all the time (it isn't) and the guns and actual gameplay are all pretty boring. On top of that it has one of the strangest viewing angles I've ever seen and it's like the screen is stretched out incorrectly or something and it's the only game I've ever played in which looking at the screen makes me feel physically wrong. It's flat out disorienting to play.
