I like the stage bosses, myself.
I do also miss the more traditional boss battles Brawl had. I was kind of hoping they would become one of the "Intermission" stages in Classic mode, but the mode didn't work out that way this time....
(How I wanted Classic Mode:
1v1 - 1vRaid - Break the Targets - 1v1 - 2v2 - 1vGiant - Race to the Finish - 1vGenericTeam - 1vMetal - Boss - Master Hand)
