What bothers me about it is how stuff is selling out literally minutes after it is announced (Seriously, I jumped on several different websites as that offered the Majora's Mask 3DS seconds after I saw the reveal). That would be fine, if you didn't find posts and gloating from resellers and scalpers who are going to mark up the price like 200%.
That article about the guy hoarding Rosalina amiibo is a decent example, but amiibo are going to be easier for Nintendo to turn around and decide that it is alright to put a couple hundred more back in the production line. Limited runs of a 200 dollar console, however, are probably NOT going to get that same kind of treatment unless demand for them becomes astronomical (Which it may. After all, it sold out in seconds).
I'll probably wait a week and see if they still have the Monster Hunter ones available. I am actually a fan of that one, and the game comes pre-installed on the system. While I am usually a fan of actual carts and discs, there are some games I kind of wish I could just pop on without even having a cart in, and Monster Hunter is one of them.
