I also start to squash the bugs.
This is hella gross getting bug guts all over my hands, but eventually wipe them off on the floor.
Debating on whether or not going back to the bomb to collect it is worth it at this point.
Goes back to get the bomb anyway.
It will likely be useful, or something anyway. I also aim to collect the +50 HP thingy while I'm there since I'm also down by an already uncomfortable amount to me anyway.
