Honestly, it's just something that took adapting to for me. Once you get it down you value how much quicker everyone falls relatively to the newer games.

Any action game with a ridiculously high skill ceiling, accidentally so or not, is going to require faster and faster inputs the higher you scale in it. It seems like you're trying to play in a way that you're probably not ready for, tournament videos you see are from the highest bar imaginable and shouldn't be a reference point for anyone newly trying out that kind of stuff.
