Also claiming Nintendo doesn't enjoy experimenting with things is like an oxymoron. The only stuff that comes to mind which is literally the same game over and over again is the ugh New Super Mario Bros series, and they of course would never try to milk that much out of Sonic as they would Mario.
I love the fact that nobody brings up Nintendo's bad ideas for games, and when they do, they have a defice for it. Let's see here:
Super Mario Sunshine (a bad experiment that fans want a sequel to)
Paper Mario Sticker Star (a game universally hated but everyone still has to have five things nice to say about it)
Advertisements for real cars in Mario Kart (something that SEGA was yelled at for doing)
Giveing us too many charicters to care about (Sonic and his friends are better)
Not useing said charicters (look at Mario Party and Kart and tell me how many characters are filler. Baby, Cat, and Gold versions and mooks included)
Say what you want about SEGA, they at lest try to lesten to thier fans. When Fans said they wanted less friends, we got Sonic 4. When the fans said we want Tails back, we got Tails back. When the fans hated 06, the warehog, and about 20 other things, we did not see them agien (aside from 06 in Generations). The only thing that I can think of that Nintendo gave us was the original flying power-up, Yoshi, and more Fan service, Two of the three I could care less, and the third I'm starting to go the other way with.
Sonic has had his bad games like Boom and 06, but Sonic Adventure is better made then Mario 64 and Sonic Heroes is a better game then Sunshine. There are more bad Mario games then Nintendo Fan boys want to admit, or do I have to bring up Sticker Star, New Super Mario Bros 2, The Lost Levels, Mario Party 1/9/10 and (if we are going to count non-nintendo games) Mario's Missing, Teaches Typing, Hotal, and Time Machine. I'm sorry, but Sonic makes good games too and sometimes they are better then Mario
