VOTING THREAD: Super Smash Bros. Newcomers!

I'd like the black ...cross thing... to be sorta the same color as the rest of the smash ball like in the rainbow version and not just straight black as well. For example you can see the silver one I did in Gorsal's post above yours where the black is still pretty clearly black but at the same time it's not just straight black and is still silver like the rest of the ball.

Please excuse my lack of tact but I kept the black area of the emblem that way when I remade them because I kinda felt that was half the problem with yours. Keeping that shiny layer makes it look a bit tacky ._.;

Nonetheless, I'll give it a shot and tweak the brightness levels so they resemble the runner-up ones a little more.

I actually used the same smash ball base you did and it doesn't use the pure black either (which you obviously already know since you made one to match that).
Essentially what I was going for was "but what if the smash ball was just made out of gold?" meaning that it kept the same semi-transparent properties but still had the darker area...

I was shooting for them all looking more or less the same except one was yellow, one was silver, etc
I'm no graphic artist though so lol
