I'm downloading the Wii U version's update data onto my computer to get Mewtwo's model and sounds, so I can verify if that's true or not.

I did not find a single hint as to the existence of those file names. I'm calling bull on that.

(EDIT: And on the topic of Mewtwo, I haven't been able to try him out yet because for some reason it's not detecting/downloading the update for me.)

well the 3DS does have different codes, the 3DS had references to cut Brawl vets as well that the Wii U version doesn't have.

Really we just need someone else to look at the 3DS files and confirm if it's legit or not.
