I'm noticing some issues with the Fire Emblem: Awakening character portrait sprite sheets (http://www.spriters-resource.com/3ds/fir...awakening/). Compared to in-game screenshots, the sprites on the sheets appear to exhibit some kind of edge degradation, like they've been eroded. This is particularly troubling with the children, who have to be composited together (I have included Severa as an example). On the other hand, I've noticed that the thumbnails on the index page do not exhibit these problems. So what I'm wondering is what went wrong with the sprite sheets? Can they be corrected/redone? And where did the index page thumbnails come from, because there is no way they could have possibly been taken from the sprite sheets they're supposed to be representing.
The smaller three pictures are a screen capture from the index page, the transparent .png, and the transparent .png with a high-contrast background. In the larger images, I have attempted to replicate this thumbnail using the relevant sections of Severa's sheet. It can not be done.
