Hi lsmash,
of course it is possible already. I've already tried so with some success. You can rip from all Pokemon DS games by using either Spiky's DS Map editor, where you can rip the Maps( manual object positioning is necessary; some maps are split into several smaller maps) and the objects, like doors, signs, etc.
You could also use the Mariokart Course Modifier in conjunction with tinke to take the rom apart. As all the Pokemon roms starting with HeartGold and SoulSilver are organized in an obfuscated manner, it can take a while to find what you want to find. Most assets seem to start at A/2/* but some are hidden elsewhere.
Please note, that both solutions aren't perfect yet, since some objects including Bianca's model are distortet, or the scaling is off, as with the title screen models, or Parts of the models are even missing.
I hope i could give you a good idea, of how to do it.
