Mario's Forward Air attack now has a flame effect on his fist. Down Special is back to being the Mario Tornado.

Eh, recovering in the newer titles requires so little effort I see no need for that really. Unless you mean hitting people, but Mario has plenty of better options. I find both his new FLUDD and DAir actually pretty good. 

Ness
A self inflicted PK Thunder now automatically blasts Ness to the ledge of the stage no matter what angle Ness was hit.
Lucas
A self inflicted PK Thunder now automatically blasts Lucas to the ledge of the stage no matter what angle Lucas was hit.
