Similarly I think they cheaped out with Ryu's recolors. Why not recolors based off of other characters?

Fun fact, I played Hyper Street Fighter 2 recently and I can tell you that his alts are based on the alts he had in Super Turbo ( alts based on other characters would've been neat too )

I know, but I feel like it's still a shitload of missed opportunities. For example, here's what I would've gone with:

My ideas of palettes: Ryu, Championship Edition (I leave it in cuz I couldn't think of a good 8th color), Ken, Chun Li, Guile, Sean, Akuma/Evil Ryu, Dan.
