The one thing I hate about how sirens are portrayed in modern media is that they're almost always stupid and generic mermaids/fish girls.
In ancient mythology, sirens are sexy bird women who lure gullible sailors with their entrancing singing.
No excuses if they're similar to harpies, do your damn research.
Sorry. But it just irks me when it happens, being interested in mythology and everything since childhood.
