Sprite ripping with vba's OAM viewer

I've been wanting to rip a ton of sprites from 'over the hedge'  (the gba version, of course) however, using the oam viewer takes 2-3 minutes per frame for each sprite, as they're all chopped into pieces when shown in the oam viewer. Is there potentially another way to do this, or somehow increase the display size of the sprites in the viewer?

I've tried using the layers/avi trick but character reflections are drawn on the same as the characters themselves, so it doesn't work that way. Tile molester and GGD confused the crap out of me (I'm kinda dumb xD)

Anybody have any suggestions as to how to go about this? Thanks in advance.
