It's my fault that I forgot that the theater posters were already uploaded by Dazz...
However mine has the other elements of the theater and not just the posters.
Dazz, since you're the one who uploaded it (At least you run the site. ), which one should stay and which one should go?
I think the best solution would be if you could make your sheet a bit better organised... It's just a giant mess as it stands compared to the one I contributed. Try to take some time with how sheets are arranged, I've noticed a trend lately of submissions that are just a bunch of sprites thrown into the sprite sheet maker in a random order with no consistency or direction. Try to make your sheets neat and presentable
wow...
You're definitely right there, lots of wasted space and some inconsistencies in the new one.
Actually, when I browse this site when looking for rips to use for <insert project here>, I have two main criteria:
present ability, and use-ability. The latter is rare to come by, it seems. In those regards, though, this is not the worse sheet I've seen.
And yeah, the problem with automated tools is people sometimes start getting lazy and not running quality control, or manually adjusting/making stuff...
Speaking of sheet formatting, hopefully these will provide with some examples? :
Projectiles
Alien Buildings
I used the background color soley as padding so the original sprite/sub-sheet boundaries are clearly visible.
However, these don't really have the issue with sprites several times the size of others.
Anyways, hope someone finds that use-able as reference?
