Actually I work in IT so I kind of agree with Filler here: it's extremely rare you see someone still using XP now that it's no longer got official support. That, and it simply won't run: you can't activate it and you can't receive security updates, so you just need to be extra vigilant using it.
I've tried installing it on newer computers and it won't even work lmao.
The only reason I could see someone using it is for like proprietary software that runs in 16-bit mode that simply won't run in 7, 8 or 10.

I can see not wanting to update if you're on 7, but 8 just feels so grueling in comparison that 10 really isn't a bad idea if you're using the machine for productivity. It's also good for gaming because of DirectX 12 - also, all the optimizations to the OS just has your machine running so much nicer and smoother
OK yeah there's the creepy telemetry but you can always disable that
