In mine, there's at least the shape of a thumb and an index, which even if it's pure black, increases readability tenfold.

In my opinion you made it more handshaped at the cost of making it less readable that there are actual hands there.

It's a case of a "blob where the hand is" (valo's version) vs. "I have to take a close look to make out there's hands there even though they are hand shaped"(gors' version)

In short both have different readability issues.
