Look at the icon for sonic. If you don't see anything special you are either on an insanely outdated firefox version, a bit outdated safari, or in google chrome. For google chrome click here to fix. Or maybe you just need to refresh.

Oh, I saw the animation and while it looks good and I'm glad to see support for APNGs finally becoming a thing, I just assumed it was a normal animated GIF uploaded before we started the project since...

...This image needs to be exactly 148x125, saved as a PNG (we will allow animated GIF icons in the future but for simplicity's sake, we're limiting submissions to PNGs for now - get in touch with me if you'd like to make an animated icon and we'll work something out), and on a transparent background (unless the image takes up the entire icon, of course)...

I figured that was pretty clear and skirting around the actual text by submitting it as a PNG instead of a GIF doesn't change the fact that we aren't looking for animated icons at the moment. Personally, I like them here and there but too many of them is majorly distracting so it's easier to just not use them at all, at least for now.
